About UYC
Unofficial Yacht Club started as a place to share boats worth talking about: bargains, auctions, odd listings and the occasional questionable refit. It has grown into a marketplace, a paid used-yacht buying system and a free sailing planning app for people who actually buy, sell and run boats.
What we do
- Marketplace. Boats and marine gear from private sellers, retailers and brokers. Free to browse and free to list.
- UYC Used Yacht Buyer System. Our paid product: a guided system for researching, comparing, viewing and progressing a used yacht purchase. One-time €49.
- Sailing Window Finder App. A separate free utility that finds forecast windows matching the conditions you are happy sailing in.
- Social. The day-to-day hunt happens on the UYC feeds.
What we are not
UYC is a classifieds and discovery platform. UYC does not act as the buyer, seller, broker, payment processor, escrow provider or transaction counterparty unless explicitly stated otherwise. Listings are supplied by sellers and are not inspected, surveyed, valued or verified by UYC. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly.
