Operator details are being finalised. Until they are published here, these terms describe how the site works but do not identify a contracting legal entity.

1. What UYC is

UYC is a classifieds and discovery platform. UYC does not act as the buyer, seller, broker, payment processor, escrow provider or transaction counterparty unless explicitly stated otherwise. Listings are supplied by sellers and are not inspected, surveyed, valued or verified by UYC.

2. Using the marketplace

Browsing and listing are free. There are no marketplace accounts, payments, checkout, escrow or commission. Buyers contact sellers directly using the contact routes the seller authorised.

3. Seller responsibilities

By submitting a listing you confirm you have the authority to advertise the item, that the information is accurate, and that you own or have permission to use the images and description supplied. Listings are reviewed before publication and may be edited, rejected, archived or removed at UYC's discretion.

4. Buyer responsibilities

UYC does not inspect, survey, value or verify listings, sellers or ownership. For higher-value purchases, arrange your own independent checks and confirm ownership before transferring any funds.

5. External boat listings and enquiries

Some boats shown in the Marketplace are external listings supplied to UYC by a third-party inventory provider. UYC is not the seller, broker or surveyor of those boats, does not verify the listing, its price or the seller, and is not a party to any resulting transaction. Enquiries you send are received by UYC first; with your explicit permission we pass them to the relevant seller, broker or listing provider, who is responsible for replying and for the accuracy of their listing.

6. Tools and calculators

The free tools produce illustrative estimates from figures you supply. They are not financial, legal, tax or survey advice.

7. Reporting problems

Every listing has a “Report Listing” control. Reports are reviewed and acted on where appropriate.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the service develops. The current version always appears on this page.
